Anyone heard of any disaster in Baba Atomic research center/ kalpakkam / kota ? India has vast reserves of Thorium and this can be definitely used to generate more power. Please search in archived issues of Businessworld magazine for this.

- Progress is necessary; however, environmental sustainability is needed. You cannot construct dams without blasting rocks with explosives. The weather changes, but nature is much more complex than the way we think it is. I would love to see a study published on existing dams and climate change bought about by them.Mayos Nounhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09203861622311531322noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9605787.post-68769779600861920052010-09-02T09:55:22.322+05:302010-09-02T09:55:22.322+05:30Its strange about how humans are consistently look...Its strange about how humans are consistently looking at exploiting pristine areas for "development". We need to find out some other means which don't impact the environment at all. Till the time such means are developed, I don't think we have a choice but to carry on with these kind of projects.Varun Jindalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08403366658082016201noreply@blogger.com
