Stop selling for once!

SMS from Airtel: Stuck in the rain? (half of Bombay is , today!). Dial 501 for information on the nearest coffee shop.

%&^%$$*. Would it kill them to provide some useful info instead. Like which train lines are down, when the water is expected to recede etc etc etc?

  2. OK.. Dont get me started on Airtel. Spam spam and spam without an nkling of a shame. We've slammed even the GM that the whole of IIM Indore campus would shift to Reliance if the spamming doesnt stop.. but to no avail. Im just waiting for my mobile to get old.

  5. Funny, how schupidity comes naturally to entities having above a threshold amount of money!

Anyway, my account of the city is here http://zombieworld.blogspot.com/

Its an account from a townie's perspective. I am thankfully not affected, I live and work in town. Also, its an account from an outsider's perspective, I moved to Mumbai recently.

  6. I really hate the way people try to sell things aggressively when you actually dont need it....

At this rate, one day you might also find a message like :-

"Are you dying ? Dial 5678 to get a lawyer nearest to your place and prepare your will."

  7. All networks are vultures. And they are down when you really need them - like right now.
Stupid orange... MAKES you call for caller tunes, nothing online, and you cant even disable it without spending six bucks.

  11. Got SMS' the whole day yesterday purportedly from the Mumbai Police Commissioner that said 'Heavy Rains expected. Do not step out unless absolutely necessary'. The sender's number was not available. But it was a good step.
